Huawei Saudi and Qumra join together to highlight the beauty of Saudi Arabia through HUAWEI P20 Pro lenses

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Due to the importance of highlighting the natural and heritage landmarks in the Kingdom, “Huawei Saudi” joined together with Qumra’s community of photographers to organize a workshop around “photography through smartphones” by using the latest “HUAWEI P20 Pro” phone. During the workshop, several young and ambitious Saudi photographers shed lights on their experience in taking different photos to show the beauty of the Kingdom through the lenses of the new phone. Additionally, the most distinct photos were showcased with each photographer talking about the background used in taking the photo.

Moreover, participants showcased the latest photography technologies to take photos similar to those taken by professional cameras. In this occasion, Vice President of Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia, Mr. Pablo Ning said: “at Huawei, we believe in the capabilities of Saudis who rose to the top in different fields, especially in photography. Because Huawei is now one of leaders in this field, and it has a commitment towards the Saudi users, we ensured sharing our expertise with the youth and talented photographers in the Kingdom to be able to highlight the beauty of Saudi landmarks using smartphones as they’ve become their all-time companions. Therefore, under Huawei’s “SEE MORE” slogan, we made sure to enrich their photography experience through “HUAWEI P20 Pro” smartphone, which will enable them to see more beautiful details in their photos.

The new HUAWEI P20 Pro is considered the first smartphone in the world with a triple-lens camera co-engineered with Leica, the company that is specialized with camera lens manufacturing. This camera system has the biggest number of pixels among other smartphones in the market, where it is configured with 40mp RGB sensor, 20mp monochrome sensor, 8mp telephoto sensor. The also features a color temperature sensor with f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 wide aperture to capture clearer, and more vibrant photos in low light. Moreover, HUAWEI P20 Pro includes a brand-new Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX lens (aspheric lens of 80-27/2.4-1:1.6) with optical zoom to capture long-range photography of up to 5x Hybrid Zoom as well as a highly sensitive image sensor to capture low light images photos with up to ISO 102400. The phone also introduces innovative photography features that include Master AI which is AI-driven professional photography skills and HUAWEI AIS, a powerful AI stabilization technology.

Additionally, the phone comes with an elegant 6.1-inch FullView Display of ultra-thin bezels that can display 16 million colors in a light and gradient-color design. HUAWEI P20 Pro also provides super high levels of response due to having a 6GB RAM and an integrated 128GB storage capacity. Meanwhile, the phone operates using an octa-core Kirin 970 processor, a dedicated NPU and EMUI 8.1 and it is based on Android 8.1 for a premium and smooth user experience. The phone also features a SuperCharge technology and a 4000 mAh battery that lasts for 2 days long of use.

The phone is now available in the Saudi market at Huawei’s authorized retailers at 2899 Saudi Riyals, in unique and multiple colors, including black and blue. The company also launched a special edition of HUAWEI P20 Pro in elegant Twilight color starting from June 6th.
